What you found when you were lost

Was the passion you held inside for so long.

Then it got a bit twisted

Your ideals changed

The temperament in which you lived your life

Varied as much as a politicians view

When he doesn’t quite know which side everyone is on.

She was standing on the edge

Of what could have been her destiny

Though not afforded the opportunity

Because of genetics.

What she defiled in principle

Cost others

More than it ever did her.

One lazy night

Taught her a lesson

In humanity

She would never forget.

Inside of her grew a child

That would at one point

Become a woman.

“Fine, I will give her breath

But she will never have life.”
